Model and materials
The design, size, material and color help identify the bag and the market for it.
SELL DESIGNER HANDBAGS
Discuss selling a designer handbag with the SDJB team. The model, condition, accessories and authentication findings help determine whether an offer can be made.
Start with an inquiry. Final offer after evaluation.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING
SDJB considers luxury handbags from makers including Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Prada. Tell us what you have, even if the exact model is unknown.
Acceptance depends on the particular bag, condition and authentication. A photograph or receipt alone does not establish authenticity.
WHAT SHAPES THE OFFER
The design, size, material and color help identify the bag and the market for it.
Wear to corners, handles, lining and hardware can affect resale. Describe repairs, odors or alterations as well as visible marks.
The team checks the bag’s details and discusses any authentication process needed before an offer can be finalized.
Straps, locks, keys, dust bags and records can help complete the picture. Demand differs between models.
A bag with its original strap and clean lining presents a different resale proposition from the same model with a missing strap and interior damage. A recognizable silhouette by itself is not enough to price or authenticate either bag.
FROM YOUR FIRST QUESTION
Your conversation goes to the SDJB team. Your preferred visit store stays with your inquiry.
Start with what you know. You don’t need a model number or an appraisal to begin.
Your item is examined in person. Ask questions about the evaluation and your options.
Hear the reasoning behind the offer, then decide whether selling is right for you.
Start with what you already know. Ask the team what else would help with your particular piece.

Yes. Tell the team what you know. Records can help, but the bag still needs inspection and authentication.
SDJB offers free verbal evaluations for purchase or loan inquiries. Its published policy allows authentication fees for an unidentified or non-authentic result only when disclosed, discussed and agreed before authentication. Ask what applies to your bag before proceeding.
Yes. SDJB considers eligible designer handbags for collateral loans. An inquiry is not approval; the item would be held under the written agreement and must be redeemed according to its terms.

CONSIDERING ANOTHER OPTION?
A collateral loan is a separate option for an eligible item. The lender holds it under the agreement; repayment according to the terms is required to recover it.

YOUR NEXT STEP
An inquiry starts the conversation. A final offer follows evaluation.
