Jewelry and its materials
Gold or platinum content, gemstones, maker and condition can all matter. A piece does not need a designer name to be considered.
COLLATERAL LOANS · PROVIDED BY SDJB
Eligible rings, necklaces, bracelets and other jewelry may support a collateral loan through San Diego Jewelry Buyers. Start with your piece and your goal; the team evaluates it before discussing an amount.
Your item is held as collateral. Written terms apply.

BEFORE AN AMOUNT CAN BE DISCUSSED
Gold or platinum content, gemstones, maker and condition can all matter. A piece does not need a designer name to be considered.
A signed ring or a diamond necklace needs more than a weight calculation. The team considers both materials and potential resale.
Existing diamond reports, receipts and appraisals can help identify a piece. An insurance value is not a loan offer.
Eligibility and an offer depend on the actual item and the lender’s requirements. A photo can begin a conversation; it cannot complete the evaluation.
Prepare for your evaluationBEFORE YOU SIGN
The item secures the loan and stays with the lender under the agreement. To recover it, you must meet the agreement’s repayment requirements. Failure to redeem can result in losing the item.
Read the loan information before deciding. This is a loan inquiry, not approval or a rate quote.
Start with what you know. You don’t need a model number or an appraisal to begin.
Your item is examined in person. Ask questions about the evaluation and your options.
Review the amount, costs and repayment terms before choosing a loan.

No. An appraisal may serve a different purpose. The lending assessment and written agreement determine the offered amount and terms.
Discuss that before borrowing. A collateral loan has costs and a risk of losing the item if you do not redeem it. Selling is a separate option if you are ready to part with it.
